Beyond Band of Brothers: The War Memoirs of Major Dick - Unfortunately, "Beyond Band of Brothers" does not really take the reader "beyond" the 10-segment television series at all. The post-war Winters was a successful businessman and his book reads like an enthusiastic and sometimes superficially ruminative infomercial. If accurately portrayed in the book, Winters is psychologically unidimensional. He doesn't seem that way in the show
